Eric Snyder was educated at Cornell and Rutgers Universities, receiving degrees in Conservation and City and Regional Planning. Following service in the US Army, he has worked for: Sussex County Department of Planning, Conservation & Economic Development, Township of Sparta, International Paper Company, Eric K. Snyder & Associates and again, Sussex County. He has now reopened his private practice under the name Eric K. Snyder, Community and Land Development Planning.
He has extensive experience in local and regional planning, housing rehabilitation, project management and code enforcement. He is an adjunct faculty member of Rutgers University, instructing Land Use Administrators and Zoning Officers.
A former member and past president of the New Jersey County Planners Association, Eric is Northwest Area Representative of the New Jersey Chapter of the American Planning Association, member of the Board of Councilors of the New Jersey Planning Officials, and he is a licensed Professional Planner and Charter Member of the American Institute of Certified Planners. Along with MWA, Eric was recently elected to membership of the Board of Directors of North Jersey Resource, Conservation and Development Project. He is also a member of the Sussex County Community College 2020 Committee.
Eric is a member and past president of the Branchville Rotary Club.
