Walker's Welcome
Walkers are welcome in the Run for the River. We ask that you
plan to arrive by 9:00 and plan to begin walking at 9:45 a.m.
After the run, all participants enjoy free bottled water and bagels.
We also have a free drawing for all participants. Giving walkers
a 15 minute head start ensures that the all of the participants
will be back at the Asbury Firehouse by 11:00, in time for the
drawing.
How long will it take? Well, a speed walker would finish the
course in as little as 40 minutes, but I think that most walkers
will finish in about an hour. There are two water stops along
the way, one at the two mile mark and one at the three mile mark.
