2003 Commemortive Ornament

MWA Commemorative 2003 Ornament

Artwork by C.L.C. Goldsmith

Fourth in a series, this year’s commemorative ornament features a watercolor of the Hackettstown Union Cemetery by C.L.C. Goldsmith, a Hackettstown landscape and portrait artist. Union Cemetery, incorporated n 1857, is the only cemetery located on the banks of the 42 mile long Musconetcong River. The artwork is mounted on a custom-made, white prcelain disc and has the artists signature on the reverse. Each year the MWA offers a new ornament highlighting a scenic or historic site on the river.
