Ages 5 - 6 yrs Week
of July 13-17, 2009
9:00 am - 1:00 pm
Campers will explore nature through story telling,
cooperative play, team building activities and a quest to
deepen their senses. Each morning, children will depart on
an exciting journey that will explore habitats and ecosystems
such as the river and the forest and will develop an understanding
of where food comes from, how people impact habitats and how
animals find what they need to survive. Campers will develop
a nature journal, and discover ways of creating a record of
what our senses experience.
"CSI Riverside"
This session os now FULL
Ages 7 - 9 yrs Week
of July 20-24, 2009 9:00
am - 1:00 pm

Each day will begin with a focus on team building
and problem solving missions. Campers will explore the connections
between the earth’s eco-systems, and the microcosms
within those ecosystems. They will be exposed to practices
of sustainability and environmental ethics as well as practices
in classification of insects, birds, flowers and trees. Campers
will be building a portfolio of their experiences in the natural
world.
"Survivor"
Ages 10 - 12 yrs Week
of July 27- 31, 2009 9:00 am
- 1:00 pm

Our older campers will learn that, for humans
to live sustainably, we need to use the Earth's resources
at a rate at which they can be replenished. Campers will develop
an appreciation for basic components necessary for sustainability
including use of water, shelter and food. Campers will learn
how each habitat explored provides these necessities for the
creatures it supports. Each day, there will be exploration
of the Musconetcong River, and the surrounding woodland and
wetlands. Activities will focus on environmental science and
include plant/animal classification, investigation of stream
and field life, development of sustainable practices, and
an in-depth look at habitats in the Musconetcong Watershed.
