Tim Johnston
Tim Johnston has been enjoying the outdoors all his life and starting fishing and exploring the woods, lakes, swamps and streams as a young boy - often coming home muddy, wet and with a frog or beetles in his pocket. Today, he is an avid fly fisherman that ties his own flies and still enjoys turning over rocks, observing nature, photographing turtles, snakes, frogs, salamanders and praying mantis. If it walks, crawls, swims, slithers, hops, flies or just sits there, Tim will want to get a closer look. Tim is a life member of Trout Unlimited, a Musconetcong Watershed Association River Watcher and has participated in numerous stream clean ups, riparian buffer plantings and invasive plant removal. When he is not outdoors or tying flies, he enjoys wood working, working on his wood lathe, creating culinary dishes in his kitchen or working with his dogs in therapy work, carting, dock diving or agility. Tim holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and is currently employed as a Quality Manager. He is also in charge of the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) in his workplace.
