Tomas Gonzales

Tomás is an artist who has had a varied professional career.  For many years, he was a designer in a corporate art department.  His freelance work has ranged from children's books to medical and scientific illustration.  He often provides arts-related enrichment programs to schools and libraries.  He has earned a reputation locally for his annual display of pumpkin cravings.  He is the designer of the national award-winning Karen Nash Memorial Butterfly Garden located in Washington, NJ and has been the project manager at the garden since its inception, 20 years ago.  In 2016, Tomás was inducted into the Warren County Senior Hall of Fame for his volunteerism in service to the community.  He enjoys hunting, fishing and other outdoor activities which provide opportunities for birding and botanizing.  Along with his wife, Leala, he resides in Franklin Township (Warren County), NJ.  They have three adult daughters.
