Christopher Stout is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of New Jersey and is an audit partner at Rosenberg Rich Baker Berman & Company in Somerset, NJ where he serves as a member of the firm’s audit department with a focus on the SEC practice group and audit quality control group. Prior to joining RRBB in August 2017, Christopher was a Senior Manager at KPMG LLP, where he focused on performing audits of publicly held and private companies in the life sciences, manufacturing, chemicals, and software industries. In addition to his experience as an auditor, Chris has extensive experience as a technical accounting consultant for public and private companies in these industries.
Chris graduated from American University in Washington D.C. with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Specialization in Accounting and a Master of Science in Accounting. During his time in college, Chris was a starting member of American’s NCAA Division I wrestling team where he was an NCAA qualifier at 157 pounds and earned an Academic All-American status.
From his early youth, Chris learned to fly fish from his father on the Musconetcong River in Hackettstown. His father also taught him the importance of conservation and stewardship of the waters we are fortunate enough to be able to fish for trout in.
Today, Chris continues his passion for fly-fishing and fly tying and is an advocate for restoration and protection of New Jersey’s natural resources. He currently resides in Flanders, New Jersey on the South Branch of the Raritan River with his wife, Lindsay, his two sons, Alden and Dylan, and their dog, Penny.
