A fun, educational day camp for children ages 5 to 12+

Campers spend a majority of their time outside, either on the MWA’s nature trail along the Musconetcong River, or wading in the river itself.  When most people are asked about how they came to care for their local outdoor spaces, they credit, not an important fact or lesson, but rather, a formative experience in nature.  While we still value educational lessons, we also believe in the power of providing children the opportunity to connect with the river in a more personal, hands-on way.

Below, you’ll find more information on the dates, ages, and costs for each week of Camp Musky.  At this time, enrollment is capped at ten campers per week, so consider signing up as soon as you feel this is the right camp for your child!  If you have any questions, please see the registration form linked here to see if it is answered.  If that doesn’t help, contact Ryan Jiorle at ryan@musconetcong.org, or (908) 537-7060.

Information regarding COVID-19: Please keep in mind that the state of New Jersey, which governs summer camp operations, has yet to release its revised regulations for 2022.  That means, as of now, Camp Musky is scheduled to operate in a manner similar to last year regarding COVID-19 precautions.  We will make any adjustments if/when revised guidance comes from the state.  If you have any questions, please check the website for the NJ Department of Health or contact Ryan Jiorle (information above).

Camp Musky is an educational and fun day camp for kids ages 5 to 12-plus. We offer an outdoor learning experience, and hands-on, river-based programs. Our primary mission is education and awareness. We believe that a community that is fully aware of the importance and vulnerability of its natural resources is a community that will actively support efforts to ensure environmental quality.
