The Musconetcong Watershed Association now offers a special Municipal Membership package.  This package includes programming that will meet the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP) Stormwater Regulation Public Education Tier B requirements for municipalities.

To comply with the Stormwater Management Rules (N.J.A.C. 7:8), every municipality in New Jersey is required to provide public education on stormwater issues to residents.  The NJDEP has constructed a list of education programs and activities and assigned a point value to each.  A municipality is required to earn a total of 10 points each year.  These requirements are time-consuming and not to be taken lightly.

The MWA Stormwater Education Program Offerings will meet all of the NJDEP requirements and offer a local perspective which we believe will make the education program more meaningful and more interesting.
