About the event
Join us for a beautiful walk through Allamuchy Mountain State Park. Our 5-mile, moderately rated hike will take us through the park's serene and peaceful forests and up to dramatic vistas over the Musconetcong Valley. This trail is well maintained with sure footing all the way and some short steep sections.
After the hike, we'll have an optional social hour at Czig Meister Brewery, located less than 10 minutes away at 106 Valentine St, Hackettstown, NJ 07840.
Weather conditions could make the trail muddy, so be sure to keep your eye on the weather and Pack your lunch, bring plenty of water, and check out the 10 hiking essentials for more information about preparing for an outing. (https://www.nynjtc.org/content/10-hiking-essentials).
