Curious about the tiny creatures that live in our streams and what they can tell us about water quality? Join us at the MWA for our Macroinvertebrate Training on Saturday, September 28th, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Identify key macroinvertebrate species found in the Musconetcong River
- Understand how these small organisms serve as indicators of water quality
- Learn how to perform a habitat assessment of the in-stream and near-stream conditions
- Participate in our ongoing water monitoring efforts to help protect our watershed
