Musconetcong Island Park Grand Opening

Join us in celebrating the Grand Opening of Musconetcong Island Park! A project that was decades in the making, a former lab building for Asbury Carbons is now a refuge for people and nature.

A reception will be held afterwards at MWA’s River Resource Center.

It’s not often that a new park is created, and this one took years of planning and execution. As the only park in the Musconetcong River, this park provides direct access to the river for fishing, hiking, nature walking, kayaking and canoeing. The Island’s platform will enable gatherings and other community activities, and offer a unique view of the river, Historic Asbury Mill and nature.

Please join us in celebrating this most important achievement.
