Celebrate the shortest day of the year with a relaxing stroll on MWA’s Education Trail. Learn about the history and science behind the winter solstice as we welcome back the longer days. Then, warm up in our River Resource Center with some light refreshments.
This event is appropriate for adults and children of all ages, and is best of all, it's free! The trail is mostly flat, and the walk will be under 2 miles long. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Meet us at MWA's River Resource Center (10 Maple Ave, Asbury, NJ 08802) about 5-10 minutes early, and we'll begin our hike at 4 pm.
You may park at the River Resource Center, at the start of the Education Trail (next to the RRC), or at the Asbury Mill (across the street).
