Flow Together Workshop Series: Shaping the Future of Musconetcong Watershed
MWA, with advice from other partners, has conducted water quality studies in an effort to gain as much data as possible about non-point source pollution in the watershed. Armed with this technical advice and data, we would now like to engage residents in feedback sessions to understand local priorities in a Flow Together Workshop Series.
The meetings will be hybrid, and will occur at the River Resource Center as well as in Hackettstown. A variety of MWA staff will be in attendance, and meetings will be an open discussion and break-out groups will happen, so in-person attendance is encouraged but not required. The meeting dates will be determined by those who wish to participate and according to their schedules, based on the information given in the Google Form.
This plan is the first step that MWA and partners are taking to create a comprehensive management plan that effects things like: resource management, ordinances, planning/zoning, open space, installing best management practices on farms, parks and public right-of-ways and how they see their community development into the future. We can't do it without you!
